Criminal Law
Criminal and quasi-criminal representation, including bail proceedings, across Delhi and Mumbai.
With the introduction of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, and the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023, India has taken a significant step toward replacing its colonial-era criminal statutes and addressing long-standing delays in trials and proceedings, while also introducing new complexities for practitioners and litigants alike. Led by Rohit Bhagat, our team represents clients in all types of criminal matters, including bail proceedings, across Delhi and Mumbai, handling criminal and quasi-criminal proceedings before the Trial Courts and in appellate jurisdiction before the High Courts and the Supreme Court of India.
